Elk Point Mural Park
Elk Point Mural Park
Welcome to Elk Point Mural Park, a unique and vibrant outdoor space that tells the story of our town's rich history. Coordinated by the Elk Point Historical Society, this magnificent 100-foot-long mural is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our community.
Local artist and history enthusiast, Billie Milholland, brought the mural to life, but it was truly a community effort. Our residents contributed old photos, anecdotes, memories, and even served as models for the diverse personalities depicted in the artwork. Every brushstroke reflects the spirit and pride of Elk Point's past and present. As you explore the mural, you'll journey through significant moments in our region's history, from the Northwest Rebellion to the arrival of the railroad. Each scene and character captures the essence of the good quality of life that defines our community.
