Friday at the Pumpkin Fair is all about embracing the spirit of harvest and celebration. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, head over to Métis Crossing to engage in a day of Harvest Experiences that connect you with the land and its bounties. As the sun sets, join us back in Smoky Lake at the Kin Pavilion in Kin Park from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Kickoff Dance and Beer Gardens. This lively evening event features market stalls offering local goods and an array of food trucks serving up delicious cuisine. As the night progresses, let loose and dance to the music, marking the official beginning of a weekend filled with fun and entertainment.

Join us on Saturday at the Pumpkin Fair for a day filled with exciting events and cultural showcases. Start your morning with a delicious pancake breakfast and explore a bustling Farmers’ Market featuring locally grown and handcrafted products. Admire classic cars at the Car Show and delight your taste buds with a variety of delectable dishes from food vendors. Take on the challenge of navigating a corn maze and let the kids loose on the midway rides. Immerse yourself in Ukrainian traditions at the Ukrainian Showcase, and at noon, the highlight of the day, the giant pumpkin Weigh-Off competition starts. MC, AJ Keller from 840 CFCW will be on hand to commentate and entertain. Other must-see activities include the threshing demonstration at the Museum and the thrilling grand finale Giant Pumpkin Drop. It's a day packed with family-friendly activities and entertainment that you won't want to miss.

Start your day with a hearty pancake breakfast and continue exploring the vibrant Farmers’ and Artisan Market for unique and handmade goods. Family Day at the Complex Hall offers a range of activities for all ages, from a mini Weigh-Off Competition to a Bench Show and Kids' Entertainment. Other exciting contests include Perogy Eating and Pumpkin Carving Showcase. Savour a mid-day luncheon and don't forget to visit the Museum to explore the rich local history and culture. It's a perfect day for quality family time and discovering artisan treasures. If you haven’t visited Métis Crossing yet, you may want to try their Harvest Sunday Brunch while enjoying the fall view of the North Saskatchewan River valley.

An alternative to getting to the Pumpkin Fair!!!

Enhance your Pumpkin Fair experience by opting for an exhilarating ATV ride instead of battling congested road traffic and parking hassles. For convenience, park at the Iron Horse Trail staging area east of the CN Station, accessible via East Railway Drive from West Railway Drive, and follow the route for 800 meters. Rest assured, the staging area is regularly patrolled by Pumpkin Fair security. Located right next to downtown Smoky Lake, this staging area provides easy access to the heart of the event.
